Nestled in the heart of rural Godfrey Illinois, Whispering Woods B&B is a luxurious, peaceful home for you to enjoy. Large rooms, beautiful common areas, and luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. You can rent out an individual suite (has an attached bathroom), a simple and sweet room with a bathroom just steps away, or the Luxury Suite (2 bedrooms with Jack and Jill Bathroom, half bath, kitchen/great room, sunroom and laundry room.) This is the perfect place for 1-10 people.

This home is luxurious and serene. Hardwood floors, custom architecture, open and inviting.

Enjoy the wonderful outdoors on 2 oversized decks at the back of the house. The upper deck that allows you to overlook the peaceful back yard and its wooded surrounding. The lower deck is perfect for enjoying a shaded area next to the built in pool. And the front porch is the perfect place to enjoy our beautiful sunsets!

The owners live in the home and will your your host and/or hostess during your stay.

We are a group of 10 sisters/cousins.  For 20+ years we have been staying at B&B’s as a group for 4 days once a year.  Margaret and Kevin’s B&B (Whispering Woods) is undoubedly the NICEST B&B we have encountered.  Margaret and Kevin are extremely accommodating, welcoming, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.  The home is lovely, the beds are very comfortable, there was plenty of room for our group to gather and visit, play games or craft.  We are hoping to make a return trip next year when the weather is warmer in order to enjoy the pool, patio and beautiful setting.  We give this B&B A++++++.  Thank you again Margaret and Kevin we had a FAB-ulous time.  🙂

A place rest, relax and enjoy!

I’d like to share my experiences when staying at Whispering Woods Airbnb. This was my second year staying in this wonderful place. The rooms are very cozy and clean. The home has lots of space for group gatherings as well as private space! The food was outstanding, they will even accommodate some health requests. This year our group of college girls came in June and we stayed for 5 days. The pool was delightful and the covered patio was great for our group. It’s located close to several small town with boutique shopping and small eateries. Everyone in our group enjoyed this and we will return again. This place is truly a hidden gem! You must try it!

We had a great stay at Whispering Woods. Nestled just a bit out of town, the setting was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed use of the kitchen, the swimming pool, and the patio areas. We had a large group and there was more than enough space for everyone. Margaret was an exceptional hostess too, providing a beautiful and tasty breakfast. Guest access
You will have access to your wonderful bedroom(s) and the luxurious bathrooms. There are “common areas” for you to enjoy, and these areas vary depending upon the number of people in your party. We want you to enjoy your stay, and have designed each area for your comfort and relaxation. During summer months enjoy our free form built in pool. The outdoor decks and front porch are a great place to relax and experience the serenity of rural Godfrey. The areas you will have access to inside our home will depend upon the room(s) you will occupy during your stay. There is a loft, kitchenette, kitchen, family room, hearth room, living room, dining room, activity room, sewing room, sunroom, great room and multiple laundry rooms with in our B&B.

Quiet Hours 10pm-7am All events and/or parties must be approved prior to making your reservation. Note: No loud and disorderly events allowed. Small gatherings of people who respect each other and our property are welcome. Even though our rooms are large, and there are beds for up to 4 people in some rooms, a maximum of 2 people per room is allowed. Two of the rooms can be set up with one King Bed, or 2 Extra Long Single Beds.
